Briggs Pipe Mixture Man In Bathing Trunks Ad 1943 This is a May 17, 1943 advertisement. It is a nice black and white ad from Briggs Pipe Mixture product of P Lorillard Company. Ad shows a man in bathing trunks, towel around his neck, sun glasses and smoking a pipe. In the smoke from his pipe he is apparently imagining himself jumping off the diving board into the pool. It reads, ""Here's the springboard to pleasure, your pipe."" In excellent condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This magazine tear sheet measures 5 3/4"" wide by 7 1/2"" tall.
