Our client's finely cast patinated bronze sculpture after Pierre Jules Mene (1810-1879), known as Valet de Chasse Louis XV (Hunting Valet to Louis XV) depicts the king's fox hunting valet on horseback guiding hounds on the hunt.  Approximately 17 by 18 by 8 1/2 inches and in very good conditoin.
