A lovely old brooch or possibly a sash pin. It is identical to another one I have on my site, except this one has more of it's gold wash left and the pin stem has not been bent. It is made up a stamped brass with a stamped brass applied plaque. Then a gold wash was applied. There is wear to the gold wash. It is hollow, but still has some weight to it. There is a scuff on the "bow" on the plaque. The pin back is in working order. There are some surface scratches and scuffs. All in all, considering it's age, it is in good condition. It would look very nice on a coat or jacket. If you are into wearing vintage clothing, it would be wounderful to wear at the waist(sash pin). It is aprox. 2 3/4" across.
