WOW!!! Another wonderful carved wood horse brooch. This one is a profile of the head with the mouth open and with what appears to be a carved clear lucite mane. The mane is carved in such a way that it and the open mouth make it look like the horse is running! It has a yellow eye, I do not know if it is glass or not. It is a nice big brooch, comming in around 3 5/8"X1 3/4". The pin back and the mane are riveted on together. I do believe there is glue residue under the mane as well.
