Brooch/C.1930's-1940'sCarved Wood Bucking Horse

EEEE HAAAAW!!! What a wonderful piece! If you have a lady in your life who is into horses and you can't think of anything to get her as a gift, well I think this is it! This ole' boy is huge! He comes in at about 3 1/2"X2 3/4". He is hand carved with a leather saddle that is riveted on. His reins are plastic coated twine, I believe. His eye is on a pin that went through a hole and was bent down so it won't come off. I do not know if his eye is glass or plastic, but I bet it is glass. The stirrup was made from the same plastic coated twine as the reins and the coating has "broken" right at the bottom of the saddle. The back rear leg has a problem with his hoof. It looks like it was not carved in just right or it popped off while being carved. It does not look like a recent injury at all. It looks like there was some black paint used to accent his tail. The original pin back is in good working order. The pin stem itself has a bow in it, but does not hinder it's working. The shipping fees quoted are for priority/Insured in USA only.
