This is a really great looking older Napier brooch with a nice Art Deco feeling in design. I do believe it was originaly silverplated. You can see remenants of that finish over most of the piece. The half balls along the piece look as though they are sterling, but the "frame" is made of some base metal. But, there is no mark as to metal content. Napier is known to have plated some of thier designs. These did not need marking as to content. The finish has mostly been lost over the entire piece. But, still has a nice presence as it is. You can see in the pics some of the finish that is still there in places. It measures approx. 3 1/4"X1". The shipping fees quoted are for priority/No insurance in USA.
