Beautiful!!! Really a lovely piece. Plated goldtone metal. The purple stones are all prong set and the clear stones are glued. There is some normal wear to the plateing. There is a soldered on loop on the back, so that you could wear the brooch as a pendent if you choose to. It would hang from the chain the opposite way it would be worn as a brooch.
