Here is a great, I believe,"Married", brooch from the turn of the 19th century. Gilt brass with a floral repoussee design over all. I believe the "married" ?rose gold topped plaque was added some time later. It has not been engraved, but there is a place for it to personalized. There is a nice undulating french curve shape to the overall piece. There is a stamped "R" on the top of the "C" clasp. It measures approx. 2 3/4"X1 1/2".
