Abstract Biomorphic Modern Bronze Sculpture from 1984
Best Offer
Our unique and large abstract sculpture is dated 1984 and signed, but we have not yet decipherd the signature. It has four legs, three of which are the pointed ends of parabola shapes. It appears to depict a highly abstract seated bird with its head buried within its feathers. Its style draws from the Italian Futurist and Cubist movements
Surname appears to begin with either P or M, and it's possible the last four letter, Anni, represent the artist's first or middle name. But assuming the last four letters are part of the surname, we believe this to be an Italian surname. Possible names include:
PAMAMANNI, PAMARIANNI, PALLARIANNI (possibly Pallari, a Finnish name), PALLAMANNI, MAMAMANNI, MAMARIANNI (possibly Mamari, a Persian name), MALLARIANNI (possibly Mallari, a Filipino name)
Overall condition is good. There are scratches and nicks, and numerous small patches of verdigris on front and rear.
