This is a lovely transparent amber ?lucite with a floral shaped metal excutcheon and a pin shank. I think it is lucite, but not positive. It may also have been clear and not amber at one time. Many plastics, especialy older ones, yellowed with age. If it has yellowed, it has "mellowed"! It really is an attractive button! It measures approx. 13/16" across and just shy of 1/4" thick.
