Carpenter's Slick Crank Neck & Straight Socket 2.0 inch

$160.00
Quantity available: 1

Offering this quality vintage, 2.0" carpenter's slick/chisels (one with the cranked or bent neck designed to give user more clearance in certain applications), and the other with the standard straight neck socket, neither are marked by the original maker. Buck Brothers did make some cranked neck slicks in the 1960's to 70's era, but I am not sure this chisel is made by them.  Although these carpenter slicks have light  staining and pitting on the steel surfaces, they are both in very good shape on the bottom cutting edge area with only minor pitting on less than 10% of the bottom surface. The edge is sharp, could use some light honing. The steel is 11.5" long overall, and with the handle is a total of 16.3" long. There is only one handle with this offer, it fits both slicks very snuggly.  The handle is solid hardwood a good leather ring end cap, solid, no damage, and fits the socket tightly.   A good useable heavy duty group of (2) slicks!
