Cartoon by E Simms Campbell Homecoming 1948 This is a February 1948, nice color cartoon by E Simms Campbell. Scene takes place on a beach. Can see a big ship far out in the water. Young black man in Nice blue suit, brown shoes, straw hat and carrying a cane in one hand and a case that reads, Mayo Clinic in the other hand. Some black native men are standing on the beach. Wearing head bands, coils of metal around their neck. big hoop ear rings, sticks through their nose. Young man is saying, Hello Pop, I got a lot of new ideas. They are staring at him like he is a stranger. In excellent condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This original magazine tear sheet measures 9 3/4 inches wide by 13 1/4 inches tall.
