Carved Red Bakelite Handle CORONA  Slotted POTATO MASHER .  Sturdy stainless steel CORONA RED BAKELITE POTATO MASHER measures approximately 3 3/4"w x 8 3/4"h..  Firmly attached slotted stainless steel oval design that   of mashing potatoes, squash or any variety of foods.   The slots are curriously slanted as if this is also some kind of grater to make curls from soft foods.  Marked: "CORONA/QUALITY/STAINLESS STEEL"    The paneled RED BAKELITE handle is darker at the bottom of the handle that transforms into  a nice cherry red.    It is painly a carved handle.    This gently used piece is shiny & clean, handle  and shows no dents, stains, holes, broken, missing or repaired parts.  Some very minor expected age related surface wear.
