Caterpillar What Jap General Forgot Ad 1943 This is a March 13, 1943 advertisement. It is a nice color ad from Caterpillar Tractor Co of Peoria, Illinois. Pictures The story in this picture is that the Japanese General thought he had the British and Indiana troops trapped but he forgot they had Caterpillar Tractors. These tractors cut a road through the jungle and finished it just five days before it was needed. In mint condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This magazine tear sheet measures 10 1/2"" wide by 13 3/4"" tall.
