Chesterfield Tried And True Ad 1945 This is a July 14, 1945 advertisement. This is a nice color ad from Liggett and Myers Tobacco Company. Ad shows a lovely lady wearing a white long dress and sitting in a wicker chair. She is holding a cigarette case. It is open and inside the case on one side are Chesterfields and on the other side is a picture of a man in uniform and it reads, Yours always. Ad reads, yes, tried and true Always. In mint condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This original magazine tear sheet measures 10 1/2 inches wide by 13 1/2 inches tall.
