Chinese Character Hinged Brass Box with Wood Lining. It is a cigarette box that can hold many cigarettes. Of course it can be used for many items. The top is engraved with Chinese characters and there is a decorative border. There are a few splotches of tarnish there and there. I have not bothered to polish it up as that will take away the old patina. The wood inside is in great shape. It measures 5.5" x 3.5" and 1.5" high. there are no signature or marking other than what is on top.
