 Chinese Cherry or Rosewood   Dovetail Jewelry Box w/Carved Jade Insert & Brass Accents ~Chinese Wood Jewelry Box.   It is 6.5" x 3.5" and  3.5" tall.   It is on 4 feet.  The brass hardware is embossed with delicate designs.   The carved stone piece is actual jade .  Whether is jadeite it  or nephrite I cannot tell.   There is a tag on the underside that is brass with enameling.  The box is lined with pretty red and gold brocade.    The condition is good.  There is signs of wear, some of the brass shows some miniscule amount of tarnish.
