Class F 4-6-0 54 In the Clear print. This is a wonderful picture by Bruce K. Dicken. The title is "In The Clear", the caption reads Class F 4-6-0 54 pauses with its westbound local freight in a siding as it awaits the passage of an eastbound express. Such turn-of-the-century scenes were common to the Nickel Plate of the era due to its single track mainline. Trains could only pass if one took a siding for the other, resulting in long waits and slow times between terminals. This photo is on heavy paper, it has a page number on it, and could have been an insert for a magazine. It is 11"w x 8 1/2", Very good condition.
