Antique HUGE bracelet Vintage green galalith Big Suffragette Purple rhinestone fancy metal work statement jewelry

WOW ! WHAT a fantastic HUGE MASSIVE old bracelet with its original safety chain. ! It is really heavy and wide ( almost 2") and made with elaborate gilt metal work  that encompass these gorgeous faux green (probably Galalith) stones. This is such a well made and detailed bracelet that ones like it are seen in a lot of the old costume jewelry books. This measures 7 1/2" long and has amethyst color rhinestones as highlights. There is a fold over clasp that is very sturdy. It is in GREAT condition and really looks great on. If you were to choose a piece of jewelry that you would consider one of your nicest pieces then this one is definitely it! Suffragette jewels signifies that a jewel was first owned by a member of the GWV movement. The language we associate with "regard" jewelry applied, too: The "G" of green, "W" of white and "V" of violet comprised an abbreviation for Give Women the vote. .
