Comical Buddhist Monk by Kato Kogei Japan Hand Painted Serving Bottle. I imagine it is either a Sake bottle or for soy sauce. The opening has a spout. It is of clay pottery that is totally glazed on the inside. The features are hand painted. He really is cute as well as very unusual. The condition is excellent. The tag on the bottom is partially torn.
