This is a Vintage Copper Egg Boiler No. 33 by Cuivres Tagus Copperware of Portugal. It is copper   with a nested Brass hen on the top of a large egg shape cooker with scrolled brass legs. .   Inside is a  Rack for 3-eggs,  and alcohol burner  is included.   The piece measures 5-1/2" wide x 9" tall.  
Designed to partially fill with water, place in your eggs, light the burner an hey presto boiled eggs. 

Lovely novelty boiler in the form of an egg sat on scrolled feet atop a small alcohol burner.
