Crosman Rifles Wanted John Sparrow Ad 1930 This is a May 1930 advertisement. It is a nice black and white ad from Crosman Arms Company of Rochester, NY Ad shows a picture of a bird and it reads, Wanted, John sparrow. He is one of the most brazen of outlaws. He roosts on housetops, defaces gables, ledges, windows and awnings and nests in drain pipes. He drives away welcome songbirds. He should be shot with a Crosman Silent .22 In excellent condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This magazine tear sheet measures 3 inches wide by 14 inches tall.
