Delaval Oiler Brass Machine Engine Drip

This is a very nice looking antique, used brass and glass drip oiler with variable rate control. It is marked "DELAVAL" on the top lid. It came with a large collection I have listed, featuring mostly hit & miss type engine accessories. This one features a patented spring loaded flip cover that covers the fill hole on the top lid. The patent date is on the flip cover which is quite small, reads "PAT'D 3-3-15". This one is in good++ condition, nice shape and design, good clean glass, both upper and lower, no cracks, with minor scratches, and about 70% of the nickel plating intact. The overall length as show is 4.25" with the top adjuster in the standing position. All the threads and spring, and moving parts, all seem to be in good working order. No damage to report. The outside diameter of the upper section of the oiler is about 1.50". Make your machine look nice and run smoothly, or just display this attractive oiler with your other antiques!
