Antique 1925 Cyclone Rotary Style Seed Sower

Unavailable
Antique "Cyclone" seed sower, patented 1925, made at Urbana, Indiana. This is a rotary seed sower that is used with the strap over the shoulder. Seeds are placed in the 17 inch by 13 inch cloth bag/hopper, the size of the opening is adjusted to control the flow of seeds, and the hand-crank is used to disperse the seeds. The bottom wood and metal mechanism measures approximately 18 inches by 6.5 inches; the rotary wheel measures approximately 10 inches across at the widest points. This great primitive garden item is in good to very good condition. It has the original paper label with instructions, retains much of its original color, and is in working condition. One of the lower corners of the bag/hopper is ripped and could use repair if the seed sower is to be used for its intended purpose. It would look great on a wall; it is a great garden / farm item. Please refer to the photographs for general appearance and condition. Shipping and handling will be determined based upon zipcode of the buyer.
