Dudley Tool Co. Combination Adjustable Wrench

This is one of the more rare adjustable pipe/nut combination wrench makers, marked ".....Y TOOL CO. MENOMINEE MICH" in cast lettering on the handle. The is a date stamped on the pipe jaw side that reads "G DEC.190".  Some we've seen read PAT. AUG.DEC 190."  Some collectors believe it is a 1901 double patent, but not sure.  The actual patent date is not known to us on this combination pipe & nut wrench, but we do know that this same company's owner, Albert Dudly had a 1894 wrench patent on another style wrench. This wrench is 7.75" long overall, with 7/16" thick straight jaws. This one is in clean condition no rust, not bent, but has some denting on the center part of jaw slide that appears to have been an atempt to take some of the slop out of the slide travel.  It did help, but the slide is still a little bit loose.  There is some minor jaw edge and surface wear,  adjusts smoothly, slightly worn pipe jaw teeth/serrations. Good condition overall. A very hard to find collectible wrench!
