Terrific very early nouveau/late Victorian design of triple cream poppies with whiplash stems on a brown field that uses the entire space of the tile from Lea & Boulton, c.1896-1900. Very good condition with clear unmarked glaze surface and edges in good shape; there is a barely noticeable shatter crack from from bottom center up toward the top as shown.
