This 8" x 8" tile, outline printed and overglaze enameled and gilt, is from W.T. Copeland & Sons and illustrates the interest of the English of the time in Chinese motifs. The tile is beautifully multi-chromatic with the design entirely filling the space. It is in excellent-very good condition with some wear around the edges from its previous life and slight losses to the green overglaze of some of the leaves as shown.
