Great majolica portrait tile from a rare series by Minton's China Works, Stoke on Trent, of Greek Gods. Here: "Zeus" (Mintons (Limited) China Works Pattern No. "2431, E"). Fully marked on back. Tile is in very good condition but for the glaze flake shown in the image just above Zeus's temple. The flake is not as noticeable in person. Very light surface wear and glaze bruise top edge near left and bottom edge directly below. Please write with any questions you may have.
