From the series designed by John Moyr Smith for Mintons based on Alfred, Lord Tennyson's poem "Idylls of the King", here is 'Pelleas and Ettare' Pelleas First sees Etarre. The tile is printed in dark brown and blue on a white field with very fine detail and crisp lines as shown. Signed, "Moyr Smith" in the tile. The tile is in excellent condition. The bottom right and upper left corners have been notched for its original fitting. Finished in a bright, glossy glaze. A terrific image. Please write with any questions you may have.
