From the series designed by John Moyr Smith for Mintons based on Alfred, Lord Tennyson's poem "Idylls of the King", here is 'The Last Tournament', Tristram and Isolt. The tile is printed in sky blue, dark brown and gray on a gray clay body, signed, "Moyr Smith" in the tile. The tile is in excellent condition with edge nicks on top and left sides, light surface scratches that do not show unless tile is raked against the light. Finished in a bright, glossy glaze.
