My beloved cherry stoner is a curvy cast iron beauty, circa 1883, made by Enterprise Manufacturing. It anchors to your countertop. The pitter is simplicity in itself. The floating disk allows all shapes and sizes of cherries to pass through the pitter’s middle. We found this pitter one hot June afternoon a few summers ago. So far I have gone through buckets of cherries. I keep this pitter out all year, because it also is a beautiful piece that graces my kitchen along with my dazey churn.
