$15.00
A V-Mail letter and cover to another one. The letter is dated Feb. 27,1945 and is from Central England, APO #508. This letter is to a Mrs. W.R.Nurenburger of Chickasha, Okla. (This was a cool find for me! I was born in Chickasha! but don't know these folks) The cover is for a letter to Mr. Rdgar Johnson of Tishomingo, Okla. and dated May 21,1945 and is from APO 654. The young man is a T/4 Edgar Arlon Johnson, Army Serial #38023149. His unit was the MED. DET. 115 FA Bn.. This unit was probably out of Ft. Sill, Okla. I was raised in and around Lawton, Okla. and Ft. Sill is there. It is the main base (and training)in the US for FA(Field Artillery). There are two other pieces of paper that were with these, one is a joke and the other is an ad for a taxi service with hand written directions on the back. The shipping fees quoted are for first class/No insurance in the USA.
