This is a very nice,99% like new 6" dial height gauge/transfer/scribe stand designed to be used on a precision surface plate for best result.  This one has the black face which is easier on the eye in some types of lighting. The dial is in .001" increments. It comes with a height scriber and clamp plus a Lufkin No. 32A swivel indicator holder/adapter designed to hold the Interapid indicators in several different positions.  A hard to find top quality adapter/holder!  All this plus the hardwood box with lap joint corners, also in great shape.  A very nice working/looking precision tool overall!
