In the early years of logging here on Vancouver Island, British Columbia Canada the name Walters was Famous among Loggers. Walters was noted for the Quality of Hardened Steel .....this Double Bit Axe in in beautiful UnAltered Patina = Rare Find. No Initals , No Cracks , while this is OLD has natural Patina with a few nicks and bumps here and there. Nothing to do with the CUTTING EDGE , that is SHARP!!! And a nice Old Hardwood handle from years ago.. Handle is Old School fitted at the eye and Handle is safe and Secure.
