Our lovely sterling silver candelabra from Fasso Arno of Milan features nine candle arms and measures 27 in (69 cm) tall.

299 troy ounces.

It carries the stamped mark with the firm's registration number of 48 in six sided cartouche with "MI" for Milano, the form adopted by Italy starting in 1958, plus the firm's decorative mark, "MADE IN ITALY" and "STERLING BY GRAND" marks.

We suspect the piece dates from the 1970s or 1980s.

The firm is still in business today operating under the trade name Laboratorio D'Argenteria Arno Fassi Srl.
