Fieldcrest History Has Beautiful Way Repeating Ad 1975 This is a 1975 advertisement. It is a nice color ad from Fieldcrest American Treasures of NY. Ad shows mother in rocking chair. Daughter kneeling by her side. Mother is doing some embroidery work. Beautiful quilt, with matching draperies and pillow shams on the bed nearby. Ad reads, History has a beautiful way of repeating itself. In the 1840s a 13 year old girl created a labor of love. It became a piece of American history, today it is only one of the many great American treasures found in the Smithsonian Institute. In mint condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This original magazine tear sheet measures 10 inches wide by 13 1/4 inches tall.
