French Gilt Snuff Box

Our antique snuff box with fine engine-turned designs throughout with raised floral designs on lid in white, yellow and rose colored gold measures 3 1/4 by 5/8 by 2 1/8 inches (8.3 by .6 by 5.4 cm).  With apparent maker's mark that looks like an interwined GS or SG, plus eagle mark, the French small guarantee mark for gold, and four-sided diamond shaped cartouche that is heavily worn and not decipherable.  In very good condition with well-fitting lid.
