Friskies Dog Wearing Hat Ad 1955 This is an October 24, 1955 advertisement. This is a nice color ad from Albers Milling Company division of Carnation Company of Los Angeles. Lovely picture by Douglass Crockwell. Small boy and girl are playing with ladies hats. They have put a ladies hat on a really big dog with big ears. and the ad reads, Cheer up, old friend, there's no substitute for the rich red mead in Friskies. In excellent condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This magazine tear sheet measures 10 1/2 wide by 14 tall.
