Impressionism Style Still Life Oil On Canvas Painting signed Sacchette. It measures 24" x 18" . The canvas has professionally stretched and mounted. It looks like a typical farm house county kitchen. Notice the nice array of subtle somewhat muted tones of reds, yellows, brown, blues, purples and greens. The various shade of the brinks sets the stage and brings in the red hues of the tomatoes and the pinks of the crock. The blue and green grapes with the foliage give this painting beautiful contrast. The yellow browns in the pear and the purplish brown in the eggplant balance out the painting tying in the colors of the wood paneling and wheat stalk in the background. I suppose I really don't need to explain what to look for in this lovely painting. You may have your own impressions. It is the type of art that won't jump out at you when you walk into a room but after studying it for a few minutes you will find yourself saying "I really like that".

It is signed in the left hand corner "SACCHATTE". I don't know anything about the artist. I do know that it is a well thought out painting.
