Geisha Eggshell Porcelain Demitasse Cup & Saucer Set x 2. The cups are 2.75 inches high and the saucers are 5" across. They appear to be very old and you can actually see some light through the cups when held up to the light. The saucers are only transluscent on the edges. They where probably made in China then perhaps exported to Japan. The condition is very good on one set. The other set has a chip in the rip of the cup and the saucer . Both saucer and both cups all have very tiny age cracks and or paint wear. They are hand painted with Geisha Girls in blues, greens and orange/reds and trimmed in gold leaf. The cups have a ribbed shape and the bottom have a scallops or wavy rim. The saucers also have the scalloped edges.
