Caricature "Toby" mug of General Douglas MacArthur, the Supreme Allied Commander of the Occupation Zone during World War II. Made by Merit China; Occupied Japan mark. Hand-painted mug measures 4 3/8"h. Overall crazing of the glaze, but no chips or cracks. Price recently reduced.  Inglenook Antiques...Established 1989.
