Georg [George] Jensen sterling silver tray with open sugar bowl and creamer set. Circa late nineteenth to early twentieth century, this sugar, creamer, and tray set is in fine original condition with no signs of restoration. The tray measures approx. 11 1/2" in length x 7 5/8" in width. The open sugar bowl measures approx. 3 1/2" in height, 5" in length, and 3 3/4" in width. The creamer measures approx. 3 1/2" in height, 5 1/2" in length, and 2 3/4" in width. Impressed with markings: Georg Jensen / Denmark Sterling / 181 / F. Georg Jensen is one of the greatest silversmiths of all time. Soon after he opened his workshop in 1904 his unique flatware, jewelry and hollow ware became world famous. Today Georg Jensen’s silver art is just as alive and vibrant as when he first designed it.
