Antique German Classical Repousse 800 Silver Platter

This lovely antique footed plate of 800 silver from Germany or Austria features three-dimensional classical masks and hearts along the rim. Hallmarks include " 24049 ", " I ", " 800 " purity mark and crescent moon and crown, which dates the piece to no earlier than 1886 when these two national marks replaced the city marks used previously.  Measures 9.25" across and weighs 10.7 ounces (304 grams).  ( pkarner )
