This is a nice, clean, straight adjustable Bicycle wrench marked by maker, "GIRARD WRENCH MFG. CO. GIRARD PA. U.S.A." This wrench was made around 1898-1910. This one is 5.3" long, it is straight, has a straight handle, the jaws align well, and the adjustment is in good working order. There is minor wear and no pitting, some of the nickel plating is still intact over about 40% of the wrench surface area. The jaw edges show very minor wear, a few minor dings. A nice small bicycle adjustable wrench, one of the few I've seen like it, as Girard Wrench Co. was better know for the monkey wrenches that they made!
