Beautiful gold over brass Victorian left hand pin holding a cross. The hand is almost 1-1/2" long and 1/2" wide. It has a ruffle and a bracelet at the wrist, three fingers hold the cross, and the pinkie is extended. The cross hangs from a ring and measures just over 1/2" long and just under 1/2" wide. The front has a beautifully embossed floral pattern. This pin (right hand) is listed on page 317 of "Answers to Questions About Old Jewelry (4th Ed.)" (1996)by C. Jeannine Bell, G.G. As shown in these pictures, the pin should be worn with the cross hanging down. This pin is in excellent condition.
