Our client's pair of Grand Tour bronzes on ebonized wooden pedestals, each after the originals by Michelangelo Buonarotti, depict Moses, based on the original in the tomb of Pope Julius II in San Pietro in the Vincoli church in Rome, and Lorenzo de Medici duca di Urbino, based on the original in the Medici Chapel in the Basilica of San Lorenzo, Florence.  Each approximately 19 1/2 inches tall and each in good condition, with some scratches, nicks, and rubbing wear, and each with restorations to holes on the rear on the upper back, possibly to seal holes from lamp hardware.
