Grindley England China Covered ServingBowl Clytie - Antique

Unavailable
This is a beautiful Covered Serving Bowl. It was manufactured by W. H. Grindley & Co. in England. This china dates back to the late 1800's to early 1900's. The Grindley logo, along with the following information, is printed on the bottom of of the bowl: "Semi-Porcelain", "W.H.Grindley & Co, England". "59" is stamped on the underside of the lid. The design is done in lovely light & dark blue colors. The pieces are trimmed in a gold-color scroll design. The bowl measures approximately 10 3/4" across (from outside handle to outside handle). The opening is about 7" in diameter. There is some slight fading of the gold color in a few areas. This is not surprising considering the age of this china. It does not detract from the display quality. There are 2 chips on the rim of the cover (see pix #6 & #7). Other than that, this VERY OLD covered serving bowl is in good used condition, and displays beautifully. We've taken several pictures so you can see just how beautiful this covered dish is!!
