A very nice faux tortise(plastic) shell hair ornament. This style has been around for almost as long as we have, given it's simple but effective (working)design. I do believe this one dates from the mid to late 1970's, maybe early 1980's. It is marked made in France. It is intact and in working condition. It has been gently used, there are some minor surface scrathes and scuffs. It measures approx. 3 3/4"X2 1/2" and the pin measures approx. 5 1/4" long.
