Hamilton Brown Shoe Co Ad. This is an ad for Hamilton, Brown Shoe Co., of St. Louis makers of "American Gentlemen" shoes for men. It pictures a gentleman wearing a pair of the American Gentleman shoes and holding a copy of "The Beautiful Style Book" sent free for the asking. Their trademark reads, "Hamilton Brown Shoe Co., Largest in the world". This ad is in black and white and appeared in the early 1900's in the Munsey Magazine of New York. The paper measures 9 3/4 inches by 6 3/4 inches..It is a little ragged on the right side of the paper where it was removed from the magazine; otherwise in good condition.
