This is a nice 1.87 (1-7/8 inch) T-Handle auger bit with a maker's mark on it but to blured to read.  Both the auger and the handle are in good+ condition.  The auger is a Snell Patern double cutting edge and double spur sharp enough to use with a good thread lead screw.  There is a few casting original imperfection like minor voids in the outside diameter, but not an issue since this is not near the cutting edges.  Also good snug fit in the hardwood T-Handle and the auger is peened to a washer to hold the auger in place  This set appears original, over 100 years since it was made.  The hardwood has some wood grain separations but very sturdy, over 1.5 inch in diameter.  The auber is 16.5 inch long and the handle is 17 inches long.
